Here is information on the types of personal information we receive and collect when you use and visit our website, and how we safeguard your information. We never share your personal information with third parties that are not listed in this document. If you choose to use our website, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy.

Information Collected

Here are the types of information ColorSails website may collect. We shall take appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of any data stored. We value your trust in providing us your personal information, and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device. If you choose to log in to our website, you agree to allow us to use cookies to personalize your experience. In addition, third party services we use (see below) may use cookies, subject to their privacy policies (linked below).

Log Files
As with most other websites, we collect and use the data contained in log files. Log files are text files produced on our server when you access this website. The information in the log files may include your IP (internet protocol) address, your ISP (internet service provider, such as AOL or Shaw Cable), the browser you used to visit our site (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), the time you visited our site and which pages you visited throughout our site. No personally identifiable information will be written to the log files we collect.

Information You Provide
If you log in to our website, we may allow you to store various assets in our cloud storage once our service is live. For example, you may be able to upload and store your own images. These assets will be stored securely using Google Cloud Datastore (see below), and we will allow you to delete these assets at any time. Unless you make these assets public using controls on our website, they will not be accessible to anyone but yourself and will be protected by secure authentication, provided by Firebase by Google Inc (see below). In addition, private assets can be accessed using read-only and read-write URLs that you can use to share your assets with trusted parties without requiring them to log in. These URLs contain authentication keys, which are very difficult to guess, but these keys may appear in plain text access logs on routers and computers used to access these URLs. This is a trade off we make to allow easy sharing of your assets. In addition, we may allow you to save assets without logging in. In this case, it is your responsibility to save the read-write URL of your asset in order to access it again.

Email Address
By logging into our website, you are agreeing to share your email address with us so that we can provide you with updates on our service. Opt out instructions will be included in every email that we will send. We will not share your email with any third parties, and it will be stored securely using Google Cloud Datastore (see below).
